The GECA certification is an Australian environmental labelling program that certifies the environmental performance of these products and is extensively used as the basis for “green” procurement in Australia.
Dedece is accredited with the Good Environmental Choice Label [GECA 28-2008 – Furniture and Fittings] for some key commercial office product collections
The label is awarded to products that meet voluntary environmental performance standards which have been created and assessed in conformance to international environmental labelling standards ( compliance to IS0 14024 ).
The Good Environmental Choice Australia label is recognized by architects, manufacturers, designers and building industry professionals as the leading whole-of-life-cycle labelling program in Australia.
The Green Building Council of Australia recognises the GECA accreditation as a superior process and awards products with this ecolable 100% of points on the Green Star Calculator.
At the end of a product’s life cycle, dedece undertakes to take back products ( delivered at Customer’s expense ) and refurbish/re-use or dispose of or recycle in an environmentally friendly manner. Customers wishing to take up this end of useful life service should contact Dedece to make suitable arrangements for the products return.
